Euan McLaughlin is an up and coming multi-instrumentalist & producer from Leith, based in Glasgow. Over late 2020 and early 2021, Euan released a trio of singles featuring the talents of Tiernan Courell, Stephen Henderson and Angus Lyon as well as McLaughlin on a range of instruments gathering international support.

 

Euan's latest endeavour has been an exciting new collaboration with Dub Producer/MC Tom Spirals put together thanks to funding from Help Musicians UK, The Fraser Shaw Trust and Tasgadh. The result An Dannsa Dub is out now, available digitally and on 12" vinyl and has been described as “the best ceilidh you’ll ever go to in your life, but on steroids” - Phoebe Inglis-Holmes, BBC Music Introducing.

 

Euan also performs and records music with his folk/electronica trio Lapwyng who were Danny Kyle Award Winners in 2020 and have been nominated for the Scots Trad Music Awards 2021. Euan has toured across The UK, Europe and Australia performing at major events such as Celtic Connections & Festival Interceltique De Lorient with a large range of artists including Ewen Bremner, Valtos, Vulin, Dante, Lewis McLaughlin, Rhona Stevens and many more.
